The space
Welcome to Sandy Pelican! Featuring 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms in the main house and 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom in the separate carriage house (perfect for teens or in-laws!). Sandy Pelican has 2 living areas and 2 kitchens, making it ideal for large groups and families. This spacious beach house sleeps up to 16 guests.

SWIMMING POOL:
▶︎Pool/Spa Heating: $200 Weekly/$40 Per Day (must be for entire stay)
★Please note: The spill over spa is NOT a hot tub and in order to enjoy spa heating, guests must opt in having the entire pool/spa heated and can only heat up to 90 degrees.
As a private pool, there is no lifeguard. Swim at your own risk and please do not allow minors in or around the pool unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
BACKYARD
-The backyard has outdoor chairs and loungers. There is also an outdoor dining table and a BBQ grill.
PARKING:
▶︎Parking is available for 5 vehicles in the driveway.
* Please note: Guests will not have access to the garage.
Per the city of Destin, there is absolutely no parking on grass, sidewalk, or streets. Local authorities rigorously enforce it.
★For our little travelers, we provide a Pack-n-Play & High Chair.
★Beach Gear: We provide extra beach chairs, a beach wagon, boogie boards, beach towels & beach toys.

Guest access
Guests get the entire house, carriage house, private pool and backyard. Parking for 5 standard vehicles. The garage is used for storage and guests won’t have access to the garage.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
***We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance ahead of your stay. This will protect your reservation payment in case of illness, unforeseen emergencies, undesirable or severe weather, job or other life changes, or financial hardship that may cause you to cancel your stay. Otherwise, if you cancel, you will lose your reservation payment in accordance with the cancellation policy in place at the time of your booking. We also do not allow reservation date changes or postponements. NO EXCEPTIONS.***

Important Information:
▪️RENTAL AGREEMENT – Renter must sign a rental agreement within 24 hours after booking. Your reservation is not complete until signed. We will send you a link after booking with instructions.
▪️PRIMARY GUEST must be at least 25 years of age to reserve, rent, and must be present during the entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students
▪️NO SMOKING – If you smoke inside the home you will be charged a large fee and an extra cleaning fee.
▪️NOISE ORDINANCE – We want you to enjoy your vacation but please know that there is a City of Destin noise ordinance beginning at 10PM. Please be mindful of neighbors. Quiet time is 10PM – 8AM.
▪️NO PARTIES – Events or parties are prohibited by AirBNB and by us.
▪️MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – Permitted Occupancy is 16. Exceeding 16 people will result in a fine by local authorities and you will also be asked to leave without a refund per city regulations.
▪️PARKING – Parking is available for 5 standard VEHICLES in the driveway. Please do not bring more than 5 vehicles.

▪️NO EARLY CHECK-IN – We host a lot of guests full-time and our cleaning crew needs the full time to get the space ready for you. This is also our time for any maintenance on the property. Thank you for understanding!
▪️NO LATE CHECK-OUT – If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $50.00 dollars for the first half hour and $100.00 for each subsequent half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property. Thank you for understanding!
▪️POOL – USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. The hosts are NOT responsible for any injuries that result from the use of the swimming pool.
▪️SECURITY CAMERAS – Security cameras are actively recording the front entry of the home and the driveway for the protection of the property. There are NO cameras in the backyard/pool area or interior views.
▪️NO REFUNDS – For weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.

Stay here! Seriously, you will not regret it. We loved staying here! The house, the area, the pool- all of it was amazing. My favorite thing about staying here was the communication with the owners. They were so fast at responding and so friendly! We also love the area the house is in. The neighborhood is very peaceful & very cute.
